This years 4th of July was a quiet and somber one! On July 2nd, Josh's parents, his brothers Kevin and Jake and their families left on what was suppose to be a week of fun on a pack trip! As they headed up the mountain on horses on the way to the camp, Kevin and Terri's son Tyler fell off his horse, and they were unable to get to him before he rushed down the river! Then a little while later while trying to get back across the river, Janene (Josh's mom) was thrown off her horse! Fortunately Jake was able to catch up to her and get her out of the river, although she did suffer a pretty nasty knee injury! On July 3rd, Josh headed over the mountain to go in and help his brothers tear down and pack out their camp! Josh came home on July 5th! So needless to say, with all that took place that week... our 4th of July was a difficult one for all of us!
But we did try and have a little bit of fun with the kids! That morning Presten and Kit worked (Trenten was down in Colorado), when they got home we took the kids to the pool for a bit! Then came home and relaxed for awhile! Later that evening we headed up to Big Horn for the Fireworks show! There was a lot going on their prior to the fireworks, and the fireworks turned out to be pretty good! But the traffic was not so fun afterwards :)

On July 13th we headed to Utah for Tyler's Memorial Service that was held on the 14th! We stayed in Utah with Kevin, Terri and the girls for a few days afterward! It's always good to spend time with family, but it was really nice being able to spend some time together during this time, and Taylin loved being with her cousins! I am so thankful for the knowledge I have of eternal families! And I am so thankful to be sealed to my family forever! What an amazing blessing that is...what else could you possibly want more than that?!?
We love you Tyler!
