We spent New Years Eve over at Punka and Grandma's, although it was a little bit sad and quieter this year... That morning Grandma called and asked if Josh and Trenten could go in and help get Punka to the hospital. A couple days before, Punka had banged his knee while he was swimming, and now it was really sore and swollen! So they got him to the hospital, and they ended up taking him to surgery to clean out an infection in his knee! And then he had to stay several days after that. So New Years Eve was not the same without Punka there, but we were all very glad Grandma talked him into going to the hospital so that it didn't become more serious of a thing than it already was!!! But we still had a very yummy dinner that Grandma prepared and of course Aunt Debbie had all the fun poppers to help celebrate the new year!!!

Believe it or not but some of that confetti traveled all the way back to Wyoming...I even found a piece of it in the car just last week :)
