Extended Weekend in Denver

The plans for this last weekend were. . . Presten, Taylin, and I drove down to Denver for a couple different reasons. Presten's car has been threatening to die on him, so he has been doing a lot of car shopping online. He found a Jeep he really liked in Littleton. So we went to Littleton to check the Jeep out in person. But our main reason was to meet my Dad, Punka, Bryten, and Trenten in Denver, and take Trent back to Buffalo with us to work for Josh. They all drove over to Colorado Springs Saturday morning to watch the Air Force football game. Then they drove up to Denver to meet us there. Madie had also gone to the football game with them, so we were able to see and spend time with her as well! Presten, Tay, and I left Saturday morning too, after checking in to the hotel, we headed to the car dealer ship to check out the Jeep. We test drove it, and Presten decided this is what he wanted. But because this was his first big purchase and has very little credit, we had to wait for my Dad to get there to co-sign. Well they were stuck in traffic while trying to leave the football game. Once they got there and all the paper work was completed, they told us that because it was a Saturday night, they probably would not be able to get approval from a bank until Monday morning. So we all made phone calls to see if we could work it out to stay until Monday, instead of leaving Sunday morning. We were all able to work it out, so this meant we had all day Sunday to hang around in Denver. So on Sunday, we went and visited with Uncle Bus and Aunt Madge who live in Highlands Ranch. It was great to see them and to see where they live now! After visiting them, we went to eat lunch at Casa Bonita! Who can go to Denver and not make a trip to Casa Bonita? It had been years since I had been there, and it was fun to take Taylin there. Ok. . . so the food is not the best, but who cares!!!! The sopapillas are awesome, and so much fun stuff going on there! We spent 2 1/2 hours there! The boys took Tay through the scary cave, and it scared her to death. She made sure we didn't go anywhere near there again! Tay had a lot of fun collecting candy at the pinata breaking, she loved the puppet show, and the toy store! After all the fun and excitement at Casa Bonita, we went back to the hotel for swimming and naps. We later went to dinner at Village Inn! Then back to the hotel for more swimming! This swimming pool was so warm, and Taylin just loved it! Monday morning we went over to the car dealership, and waited around for the deal to be made final! Then after a quick lunch. We all headed back in separate directions! Dad, Punka, and Bryten headed back to Gunnison. And Presten, Taylin, and I with Trenten headed back to Buffalo. It was a fun weekend! It was lots of fun seeing everyone and spending some fun time together! Hopefully I didn't confuse everyone with this story!
