This one was different than my other 2 in the fact that it was a scheduled c-section (due to Jordan being and emergency c-section because he was breech)! So I had time to think about things and get nervous! But honestly I didn't get as nervous as I thought I would!! We had to leave the house at 5:30 that morning to get to the hospital! Everything went very well and smoothly for the most part! The only thing I had problems with was getting air pushed up into my body during the surgery which cause horrible pain in my shoulder, neck, and chest! Which I am still struggling with this from time to time! I got to watch them pull her out of me, which was a fun experience! I was a little unsure about having this baby in Sheridan instead of Buffalo like the other 2, but I ended up loving it! The nurses were amazing! I almost hated to leave the hospital cause they were so great!
The day before my c-section, I was explaining to the kids that Nannie was coming to stay with them cause mommy and daddy had to leave for the hospital early the next morning! And that Nannie would bring them later to the hospital to see the new baby! Tay told me she was only going to go to the hospital if it was a girl! We then had a little talk about how we would love who ever Heavenly Father sent to be in our family! So that night as I was tucking Tay into bed, I told her that I was so excited to see her at the hospital the next day! And she said, "Me too, and if it's a girl double excited! (then a little pause) And if it's a boy...double excited too!"
But I have to admit that as they pulled the baby out and said it's a girl...I was somewhat relieved :)
And some of you know...we decided to not tell anyone what the baby was until after Nannie brought the kids to the hospital, because we didn't tell them either (not even Nannie)! I was so excited to see Taylin's face when she found out she has a sister! And it was priceless...When they walked into the room Josh showed the kids the baby and asked them to guess what it was...neither of them said anything and so Josh told them it was a girl, and Taylin's face light up with a huge smile and eyes full of excitement! And Jordan right away said, "I like a hold her!"

Jordan loves her and can be the sweetest big brother at times, and then his jealousy or something comes out and he becomes so darn ornery!

Grandma and Layla! My Mom and brother, Bryten came the week after Layla was born for more than a week! It was so great to have them here and to help me adjust to 3 and recover from the c-section!

One Month OLD
We are loving this little addition to our family! She has been such a good baby! Only wakes up once to eat and is done in about 15 minutes and back to bed!
And I am feeling great! This picture was taken 2 weeks after c-scetion! I feel like I have recovered very well with this one! I am so excited to be able to get back into my workouts next week... and get everything toned back up!!
